Does anyone have and Recommendations on music?

I am looking for two kinds of stuff...

I want to start making a classical music collection...

I also want to add to my music that is like Robert Miles (kinda trace but with more traditional instruments, like pianos and stuff).

So make me some suggestions so I can download from Audiogalaxy.

Thanks!

For Classical music, I personally recommend anything from the Baroque period. Cecilia Bartoli is a vocalist who records mostly Baroque music. Also Gabrielli (more Renaissance) and Beethoven (more Classical/Romantic). But Baroque is my favorite era of musical creation.

"Classical" music is an awfully broad spectrum. If you're really interested in a very broad range, talk to Jim; he's got a plethora of the stuff that you can listen to and determine what area, if any, you want to specialise in.

As far as your others... Robert Miles is excellent...you might also want to investigave Chris Spheeris, Brent Lewis, Ray Lynch, Kitaro...you may even find some of Yanni's stuff that will suit your fancy.

Listen, and explore!

Thank you, thank you, thank you... :)
This should help... although I think I will pass on the Yanni, I'm not really into the new age stuff...

Want the popular classical? or esoteric stuff?

Start with the 3 B's: Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. Others you should look for: Mozart, Strauss, Wagner. If you're looking for vocals, I'd have you start with Gilbert and Sulivan's Pirates of Penzance and HMS Pinafore, because they're in English, and I don't think you know German or Italian.
