So I posted help for my resume on a message board I frequent and I guess one of the guys that posts on there as well was impressed by my skill set.

He contacted me regarding a Tour Manager position for his company. It would require being out of town for 5+ weeks at a time and managing up to 5 people at a time on a mobile technology lab.

Pay would be about 15K more then what I currently make with a potential to earn bonuses per tour. Rooms are paid for and per diem is $30-35 a day.

Only problem is that it's in Buffalo, NY. And I'm not sure how we would handle being away for 5 weeks plus at a time. It really depends on how much time between I would be home and have off. But it's really nice to know that someone is interested in my skill sets.

Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen

Last night Kelly and I finally got to this new Mexican restaurant down the street from us, Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen (review to follow at Yelp.com). I figured since I was out for my walk I would take a picture of the place. As you can see they have no sign. The story regarding that is the sign wasn't in the original plans they gave to the city and when the City of Orange was doing their inspection they decided the sign was too big and didn't get a permit for it. So the sign remains downstairs in the basement of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, I got a burrito along with a Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse Dunkel, Kelly had tacos dorados and a blended raspberry margarita. It's definitely a place we plan to visit again.

This was my route today http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=619211, for 1.1 miles in about 25 minutes.
