Off Roading in the Desert!

Kelly and I went out to the Rodman Mountains Trail on Sunday to do a little offroading. This was basically her first real experience of off roading, and she had fun expect for a close call or two (like the steep hill that my truck couldn't make). Overall it was a pretty fun trail, the beginning and the end were about 4-5 miles of wash driving, so that was interesting trying to locate the line, fortunately some people had gone through earlier that day so I was usually able to just follow their trail. The pictures of the lava rock include 10,000 year old petroglyphs from ancient Native Americans (too bad some idiots have tried to scratch up the rock and make their own, some people just have no respect...) We also ate at the Bagdad Cafe which is named after the movie that was filmed there. Had lots of fun for my first ever desert off roading experience.
