Congratulations on a great career...
I just wanted to post a little something about one of my favorite baseball players of all time, Will Clark. From his first at-bat when he hit a first pitch home run on Nolan Ryan to this years National League Championship, Will "The Thrill" Clark has personified what is a baseball player. Through numerous injuries Will Clark was able obtain a career .303 average and hit 284 Home Runs. With probably one of the sweetest swings I have ever seen. Probably one of the most intense and dedicated players, I will always remember him as one of the greatest baseball players I have ever seen play.
After reading this quote from him today you can understand how great of a man and father he is, ``In every player's career, sooner or later, you're going to have to make a decision to move on,'' Clark said. ``The first part of my life was based on being a baseball player. The second part of my life is going to be based on being a daddy and a husband.''
Although he may not make the Baseball Hall of Fame with the career numbers he amassed, I will always consider him a Hall of Famer in my mind.
Thanks for the 15 years Will, you will be missed.
