So this is basically what my truck is going to look like. Except I'm not sure if my 4x2 Prerunner will be able to climb as nice as that ;)

I'm not 100% on white. I decided I'm not going to get the full color match though since it's nearly impossible to find it in all white. That will save me a couple bucks.

Edit... I'm contemplating spending the extra 2,600 for 4x4 now.

I like white cars. Silver is my next choice. I will never own a black car unless I'm rich and can wash it daily.

Yeah white stays cleaner so much easier. I don't like the other colors so I guess white it is with chrome bumpers.

Okay, I have to ask.

You don't get snow. You don't get ice. You don't get any real weather at all out there. I think the last two-lane dirt road in Southern California got paved in 1968. You don't live in the mountains, and unless you've had some massive change of heart you don't do any mud-running or rock-climbing (and if you did, a long-bed extended cab should not be your first choice).

What could you possibly need 4WD for?

Exactly! That's the same way I'm thinking. There are lots of trails out here actually, which I'm planing to cut up. I don't need 4WD. It's not a long bed though.

I'm leaning 4x2 still. The guys on the board keep talking 4x4 this 4x4 that.

Ever heard of the Main Divide? I guess it's a run on the Santiago Mountains that runs the ridge from San Juan Capistrano to Coal Canyon. I heard it's pretty timid, so it sounds like my type of ride :)
