I'm disappointed that they decided to drop JJ Abrams from the latest Superman movie, I would have loved to see his take on it. But that's old news. It still sucks. He's impressed me with Lost. I started watching it when I saw the repeat of episode 7 where Jack gets stuck by a cave in. I then started watching the new episodes when they started. Thankfully because of my membership on www.somethingawful.com I still have access to the former torrents section that is now on another site and I was able to download episodes 1-13 from torrents. Now I'm all caught up and I'm hooked! One of the reasons why I thought Eve Lilly is so hot and cute :). This weeks TV Guide they talked about the show, each episode, and the 14 characters, according to JJ Abrams one of them is going to die. That's going to suck but I think I know who it won't be.

Jack, he's too important to the group for him to be killed off as the resident doctor.
Kate, to tough, and she's the hot factor for the show.
Sawyer, he will prove to be important as the show goes on, even though he will continue to butt heads with Jack.
Locke, his character is deep and he's the tough guy.
Charlie, there was talk he was the one that was going to die, but I think he's developed really well and his character is getting to be a much stronger person.
Sayid, he's got lots of background that could prove to be good filler for the show, considering he server in the Iraqi Republican Guard.

I think the one that dies will be one of these, Jin, Sun, Shannon, Michael, or Boone.

I could see them doing something with Michael and then having Jin and Sun sort of adopt Walt along with Locke, but that would be sad for the kid since he just met his father. Boone is expendable, and his involvement with Locke could lead to his death, especially once they open that hatch. Jin and Sun I think either could die and it might help with plot, if Jin dies then Sun would be free of his controlling attitude, if Sun dies Jin could develop more because of his loss.

Of course I'm probably wrong and it will be Hurley or something, although there hasn't been a "Hurley" episode yet, I guess that one's coming up.

On a side note, with Lost, Alias, and Felicity JJ has entertained me for like 6 years. His shows have continued to be some of my favorites to watch. When is he going to get a REAL SHOT on the Big Screen?

I think the Hurley episode is the second new one after next week's repeat. I'm just looking forward to finding out how he got the nickname. d8^)

You forgot about Claire. I think she's got to be listed in the deadpool.

Do you still happen to have the first episode on your computer? I saw an animated gif online from that episode that's got me wondering. It was a slow motion shot of the plane's engine blowing up on the beach. In the slow motion, you can see a black thing swoop down and cause the engine to explode. If you've still got the episode, could you see if that's really there. I didn't know about this until the episode was deleted from my DVR. Thanks.

Hrm I never noticed that. Are you talking about when they show replays of the what happens to the plane in the air?

I will check it out.

As for Claire I could see that happening, that would really screw up Charlie and I think they are looking to have him and Claire together eventually since they seem to like each other. Plus she just showed back up. I think the baby she has could be the one that dies. Because who wants to watch a show with a baby, that's only for sitcoms that are losing viewers, it's too early for a baby or adding Ted McGinley to the show, I think they are a couple seasons away from that ;).

It's when the plane has already crashed. There are people on the beach in the foreground (left hand side) and the engine is in the background (right hand side). The engine explodes and people go running from it. I need to go looking for that image again. It was on some forum somewhere.

I think that Ethan has the baby and that's why he let Claire go. I also think that the baby and Michael are going to be huge factors in the show and that neither of them will die any time soon. I already wrote about all of that though so I won't go into it again.

Um... A guy gets sucked in that engine. He's what makes it explode!

Also Claire is still pregnant. So Ethan can't have the kid.

This didn't look like that scene. I need to find the episode myself and look at it again. In slow-mo, you could clearly see something swoop down and make the engine explode. This wasn't the engine that the guy got sucked into.

They didn't show whether or not Claire was pregnant at the end of the last episode. Unless you've been reading spoilers, there's no telling whether or not she's still pregnant. I just don't see her escaping while still pregnant unless Ethan wanted her to get away for some reason.

She looked pregnant to me. Of course I read TV Guide today and it said she was still too (probably a spoiler now that I think about it).

If she's still pregnant, then I'd have to think that Ethan is up to something. I guess we'll have to see what her escape story is. I just figured that having Ethan take the baby was one way to progress the story without having to have a baby with the main group every week.

Now the group is going to have to be on constant guard from Ethan and the crazy French lady which will bring an interesting dynamic to the show.

Charlie should've died in that episode when Claire was abducted, it would've made the show that much better.
